This APC Replacement Battery Cartridge (RBC3) is the factory-original hot-swap battery module designed for APC Back-UPS series models including the BK450, BK520, BK575, BK600, and BK650. Replacing the battery restores full UPS runtime and prolongs the life of the UPS unit itself. The cartridge contains maintenance-free, valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries that require no watering and can be safely installed in any orientation. A replacement is recommended every 3–5 years under normal operating conditions.
